The massing of this residence was dictated by the site’s orientation. The large massing on the right side of the house blocks the western sun to make the living areas cooler in the afternoon. A wide cantilever slab surrounds the block with the purpose of adding a layer of shade.

The interiors are airy and spacious, with a double height living room acting as the social core of the residence. The living area opens toward the large outdoor landscape.
